1. Service Description

RingFriend is an AI-powered telephone companion service operated by TaxStats Ltd. By calling our phone number, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RingFriend to:

• Engage in illegal activities or discuss illegal acts
• Harass, abuse, or threaten others
• Attempt to extract harmful information from the AI
• Use the service for commercial purposes without permission
• Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the service

3. AI Limitations

RingFriend is an AI service. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, you acknowledge that:

• RingFriend may make mistakes or provide inaccurate information
• RingFriend is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial advice
• RingFriend is not a crisis helpline - if you're in distress, please contact appropriate services
• Conversations are with an AI, not a human

4. Memory Feature

RingFriend remembers information from your calls to personalise your experience. By using the service, you consent to this data being stored and used. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Pricing & Billing

RingFriend offers free and paid tiers:

• Free: 5 minutes per month
• Lite (£4.99/month): 30 minutes per month
• Unlimited (£9.99/month): 120 minutes per month

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time. Minutes do not roll over to the next month.

6. Call Charges

Calls to RingFriend are charged at standard mobile rates by your phone provider. RingFriend subscription costs are separate from any charges from your phone network.

7. Service Availability

We aim for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance or other reasons.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate access for users who violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time by simply not calling.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxStats Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of RingFriend. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
